Calisthenics or Street-Workout comes from the ancient Greek words κάλλος (kállos), which means "beauty", and σθένος (sthenos), meaning "strength"—using one's bodyweight to achieve physical prowess and aesthetic through strength, mobility, and flexibility.
The Spartans, famed for their discipline and military excellence (650 BCE), were pioneers of this intense training, both physical & mental.
Developing control, power, and grace. It teaches mind-body connection through the conscious activation of the nervous system. Loosening or contracting every fiber in your body to either explode dynamically or hold static positions.
